Overview of Zapier
Full description of the tool
Zapier is an IT tool designed in the United States in 2011. It takes care of setting up custom software and therefore saves time.
The software acts as an intermediary between your applications. It uses a pairing trigger called Zap that allows certain actions to be triggered automatically. It has more than 500 applications in it, each with a pair of triggers. Note that the number of Zaps you can do is limited.
There are three versions of Zapier. These are the :
- free: accessible to everyone, but limits the number of Zaps to be made;
- trial; allows you to try the offers of the paid version for 14 days;
- Paying: Here the number of actions is limited, but the user benefits from more features. A periodic subscription is required.
For the second version, after the trial period, you must subscribe to the paid version or use the free version. Note that before using Zapier, a minimum of knowledge of the functioning of your own software is required.
Our opinion
In this digital age, Zapier is a tool that provides the solution to a major problem, that of efficiency. It is easy to download and install and its French interface is very ergonomic. Thanks to its policy of synchronising the applications used on a daily basis, it saves time.
Zapier allows you to improve the productivity of your team. It is accessible to everyone because it is available in several languages.
However, the use of Zapier is very limited in time. There is also the possibility that the costs increase when you repeat certain actions very often. In addition, some APIs are available, but not visible.
