Slack
Why use Slack?
Slack is a collaborative tool that makes life at work much easier. It facilitates communication, offers excellent mobility and remains fully adaptable.
Easy communication
Slack makes it easy to communicate with your colleagues. Thanks to the chat or instant messaging system, you can send information and collaborate with people both inside and outside the company. This way, you can work more efficiently and save time in your exchanges.
High mobility
When your teams often need to travel and use multiple devices for business activities, Slack offers great mobility. Accessible from a browser, you can use it on smartphones, tablets and computers, while maintaining speed and efficiency.
Perfect adaptability
In addition to facilitating work between collaborators, even if they are geographically distant, Slack is a freemium tool. This means that this platform offers you a free offer and subscription models (between $49 and $99 per user, monthly). Slack adapts not only to your needs but also to your budget.

Slack overview
Full description of the tool
Slack is a new communication tool founded by Stewart Butterfield. Since its official launch in 2014, it has experienced a rapid and very high growth rate (on average 7% per week). Today, Slack has 5 million daily users and per week it has 6.8 million active users.
In addition, Slack offers more than 1800 applications, mainly Polly, Guru, Troops and Lattice (these were the first Slack services). Among its applications are also some tools from Microsoft, Atlassian, Zoom, Google and Workday. And it is precisely through these different tools that the Slack team strives to facilitate communication between employees.
Our opinion
Slack is an excellent tool for isochronous communication. In other words, it allows you to follow conversations that are going on at the same time. So when you're following a conversation and you get up for even a moment, it's hard to get back on track. And it's even more difficult when you're switching between different chats.
So while Slack is a good collaborative solution, it is not complete. It doesn't allow you to make conversations permanent over time, nor to organize and structure them. So if you are looking for a solution to manage your projects, you need to complement Slack with another more suitable tool.
